I dont know alot about minor leagues and how the contracts work I just know what I saw from the guy in college and ST, I have him as a keeper in my league and the way the setting are if he can qualify he is a guy I would be able to keep over the next 6 years very cheap, the thing is in order for him to qualify as a keeper he needs to make 6 starts before Sept 1st? Is this at all a possibility, If it is not I am just wasting a bench spot on him that I could use to help me alot in starting pitching as our league does not have a max IP rule,, And I have read alot about longoria and why he may be sent down to the minors (alot of contract stuff I dont totally understand and the rays not wanting to start his free agent clock) plus i know the rays have other top pitching prospects as well So is there a chance at all he price is pitching for them in like july or august?
