As much as it pains me to say this, I think the biggest difference between them may be the fact that Rios gets to hit off O's pitching while Markakis has to face the Jays pitching.

I'm not sure the Blue Jays lineup is all that much better than the Orioles this year. That team is going to struggle to score runs unless Overbay and Rolen come back healthier than I think they will. I think Rios is being overrrated and Markakis underrated so I'd rather have the value of Markakis than Rios though I think Rios will earn slightly more.

This is an easy one. Check their split stats for the last 2 years. You want Rios for the first half and Markakis for the second half. Maybe you could trade Rios for Markakis "and" a bonus player around the All-Star break. This would be maximizing the situation.

I like Markakis because he is pretty consistent, but I don't think you could go wrong with either of these guys.

Good point

. If their splits stay true, you could be looking at a top 3 OF.
