I learned how to make the flames from a tutorial.
i would put something else in the backround, in the flames, but i don't know how to make stuff blend, or be transparent

Change the blending modes. Soft light, overlay, color/linear dodge, etc. Mess around with the different blending modes. Lower the opacity to make things more or less transparent.

i feel this is 10 times better than those other ones. although still some cutting issues, and prince for some reason doesn't look all that good? i should have made him bigger, but i wanted more of him to show ...idk. thoughts?

yes that one is better. your text is too complicated. there are a few techniques in which you can make your text look better, but again, i stress to go as simple as possible. you still need to work on your opacity/fill (transparent levels) and then start working on lighting and blending. i do see improvements though. did you cut that wright yourself?

yes i cut him myself, same as the statue of libert which was a pain in the butt!
