Well here is that team that I drafted last night. This league is very competitive and Starting pitching went real fast after I took Harang.
C- Soto (16th round: thought it was good value)
1B- Ortiz (2nd round: Everything is going to plan)
2B- Cano (4th round: Dunn was taken, almost went Tulowitski but figured Cano was a safer pick and think he could bat 3rd this year)
SS- O-Cab (19th round: Had no choice, I think decent value and move to CHW will help)
3B- M-Cab (1st round)
OF- Granderson (3rd: he fell to me an I couldn’t take Dunn over him, plan goes away)
OF- Hawpe (7th: had to have him think he can hit 35hr)
OF- C. Young (8th: huge steal IMO and with Cano, Mcab, and Papi I felt I could tolerate his ba, planning for Dunn pays off)
UT- Hamilton (11th: Got him where I wanted, whole draft was pissed)
Bench
Billy Butler- (15th: Had to have him, I think he is set to explode)
Bourn- (17th: good value here and will use him if I need speed, 40 SB poss)
JR Twoles (20th: backed up soto with him, excellent value here)
Adam Jones (23rd: big upside pick in the final round, worked with Upton last year)
Starters
Verlander (5th: Got the ace I wanted)
Harang (6th: Thank god I took him and 8 SPs went soon after)
Cain (9th: Pitching was getting lite, This is his 3rd year a nice #3)
John Maine (10th: With pitching going quick I grabbed my #4 who is in his 3rd year and is really developing)
Wainwright (12th: was the last guy in my tier, a solid #5 my only non-K guy)
Zach Grienke (18th: who knows what to expect but he has huge K potential
Dana Eveland (22nd: won spot, could be good)
Closers
Gagne (13th; I waited on closers to build a good offense and pitching, he was best avail)
Boroski (14th: he gets the job done and pitching well in the spring
Accardo: (21st; couldn’t pass, Ryan out indefinetly so could be good pick)
