I agree with the other bucco fan. I've been reading the same articles he's linked to, and they all have been indicating that Paulino's defense and overall effort were issues last year. The big advantage Paulino had was that he called a good game behind the plate. The new manager doesn't seem to value that as much, and is willing to call the game from the dugout while Doumit catches. I would expect Doumit to see a significant number of at bats this year.
