Both these guys have dominated in Spring Training and have been given rave reviews by Scouts managers and players.
Of Cueto it one scout said, "You see so many guys this time of year throwing [their fastballs] in the high 80s and low 90s," said one scout, "that when a guy comes along who throws it 94-97, to both sides of the plate, down in the zone, and complements that with a hard upper-80s slider and a changeup that goes straight down -- all for strikes -- let's just say it catches your attention."
and of Volquez, "Unbelievable movement," said a coach of one of those teams. ... "Electric stuff," gushed one scout. ... "His changeup is really, really, really dirty,"
I just picked them both up in my league and they fill out my staff, awesome upside here.
PS-A little off topic here, but just a side, should i drop borowski or lester for Volquez?
Reyes and guerrero, the two most blessed players in the league, not to mention the most fun to watch
