Xeifrank's Draft Software - Files with compiled projections

I'm sure some of you are aware of XeiFrank's nice (and free, thank you Frank) software that you can use for mocks, during drafts or entering your draft after the fact to see how your team stacks up. If not, you should check it out here.

I used the compiled projections from the mlb 411 guys and changed it around so it works with his software. If you're interested in downloading the hitter and pitcher databases, you can get them here.

If you've already drafted, you can copy and paste your Yahoo draft into notepad and save it as a text file then import the draft results to quickly see all the teams in your league and their projected stats & pts. The only thing you need to do before importing your draft is to change Chris Young (the outfielder) to Kris Young in your draft text file. That's the only way I could get the software to correctly automatically add both Chris Youngs.

keeps giving me an error when i try and import draft results from Yahoo. is it the round by round that i copy and paste? select all and copy and paste?

Yeah, you should be able to just copy from "round 1" to the last name of the last person drafted and then paste it in notepad.exe

I don't know much about programming, but I'm assuming it's some type of run-time error? Here's an example of a draft of mine so you can compare the txt files.

figured it out. I had two empty spots in the last round because Bartolo Colon and Cueto aren't on Yahoo and we do an off-line draft. added names there and it was fixed. thanks, man.

there are some guys that have different names in the databases than in Yahoo!, so you have to change them so they get on the right team.

Don't change Chris Young to Kris Young

Change Chris Young from SD to Chris YoungSD
Change Michael Young to Mike Young
Change Jonathan Papelbon to Jon Papelbon
Change Wily Mo Pena to WilyMo Pena
Change Kazuo Matsui to Kaz Matsui
Change James Shields to Jamie Shields

If you use the two files with better projections from my 2nd link in the original post when adding hitter & pitcher databases inside the software, the only name change you need to make is on your draft txt file to Kris Young. The rest of the names are corrected. (actually, Willy Mo Pena might not work, I haven't checked that).

gotcha. i was using the mixedhitters and mixed pitchers database.

Launch the program and from the drop down menu select Tools->Create New League

then select your categories anywhere from 4x4 up to 7x7 (as long as hitting cats match pitching cats), also select number of teams and team names. After you are done and return to the main window make sure you save your league config file before trying to open it. Any other questions let me know. The current download is version 8.3.20 (year.month.day).
