I like your team overall, minus, like you said, the relievers. You could always drop one of your bench hitters and maybe pick up a closer like Sherill or Wilson from the Rangers. You don't have the starter that's going to dominate like a Santana or Webb type, but a bunch of solid players. If there aren't any good closers in the FA pool, I'd probably trader one of your bigger bats like Carlos Lee for a decent reliever like Bobby Jenks or Jonathen Papelbon and see if maybe that same person has a good base stealer like Chone Figgins or Brian Roberts since you seem to be lacking in that category. Overall I think you're fine as is, but try to add a few more steals and another closer or two.

Please rate my team:

I agree with the above almost completely. You could definitely improve your RPs, but it might be best to just wait it out as there are sure to be some closers who lose their job early on this season! Of your hitters, I think the two I would look to get rid of to add steals would be either Conor Jackson or Michael Cuddyer if you can find a good base-stealer in Free Agency. If you must trade, try to trade someone who is easily replaceable with what you already have (i.e. Francouer, who can be replaced by Swisher).

I agree with what the guys above have to say in that you need steals and save guys. Id try to package Morneau and the King for a closer and an upper tier steal guy. I am very high on Billy Butler this season and I think the King's value is higher right now than it will be after the first month of the season, just a gut feeling, not high on the King.

Agreed with the lacking in steals comments but it is not that bad. I do not think it is worth it to go out of your way to fix it. If McLouth is on waivers you could drop cuddyer for him and that would give you a good enough arsenal of steals for now. I think you should work on getting one more starter or you might suffer while gallardo is out. I think the sell high on felix is good advice. You could package him with whatever for a lesser pitcher that you like and an upgrade at rp or offense.

thanks for the help.

to be honest i am nto sure how this would fair in a h2h league. it seems way too balanced for that.

i was always under the impression taht with h2h is it best to try to stakc as many stats as you can rather than be a mid carder in everyone.

but i have very little experience with h2h.

Which of these trades should I propose? I'll shop Felix to like 4 different teams.

Felix for:

Kinsler + Cain/Myers/K. Escobar
Beltre + Lincecum
Konerko/A.Jones + Corpas
T. Hunter
Furcal + Dice-K/Penny/H.Street (I'd have to add Accardo or Gagne in a Street trade)
Wagner + Figgins (I'd have to throw in Kendrick and Cuddyer at least)

Any mistakes I'm making or are these all good proposals for me? Which are the most likely to be accepted?

Eh... probably the Furcal + Dice-K/Penny/Street one if you add Accardo instead of Gagne. I would more than likely attempt to pick Street. If that does not work, you'd be better off with Konerko/A.Jones+Corpas.

If it were me, I would accept the last one, but it would depend on how I am doing with my RP.

Thanks Kuji. BTW my friend uses an AIM name very similar to your username. It's throwing me off lol.

Any other input on these trades?

Gotta like Soto's upside, especially if you got him in the 15th
Morneau went in the 4th. Wow. Nice pick.
Wright is going to be a monster this year, always a good first pick.
Gotta like Carlos Lee, but I don't know if he's worth a second round draft pick (poor OPS guy for such good numbers).
Sizemore is going to be a beast someday. Perhaps this season?
Guillen is always nicely underrated. Steal.
Swisher may have 30 home runs this year. Steal.

The only holes I see are Franceour (hate his OPS for a guy with such good numbers) and Kendrick, but you had to suffer somewhere in a 12 teamer

As for pitching...
Hamels is definitely going to be a monster this year. I love him.
Haren is nicely underrated. Good pick in the 7th
King Felix may claim his crown, good pick.
Gotta wonder about the rest, but good upside.

I guess you're punting saves, but I think that may be a good strategy in a league like this.

Overall, impressive team for such a large league. You did your homework and drafted extremely well. Stand pat and see what happens.
