the guy ahead of me is a good friend and will take Pujols or A-rod. My question is, with sportsline set up for 10pts. per save, should I take Gagne, or take the who he doesn't grab (or Beltran). I'm new to the sportsline format, and if you didn't get 10pts/save it wouldn't be a difficult choice.

Its also a H2H league.

Thoughts??

Tough one. I have just joined a CBS league that counts save at 10pts too and Gagne was the leading scorer last year, over pujols, halladay, everyone! 8-o

But I think the smart choice would be Arod.

10 pts or not....saves are still somewhat unpredictable.

I would go Pujols (or Arod)

I would go with Pujols if the person in front of you takes Arod.

you don't know how many save opportunities gagne will get but you know a-rod and pujols will have at bats every game. besides batters are more consistent than closers. gagne can have a week without save opps and then a week with 4 or five saves. I prefer loading up with starters in my CBS league.
