I have second pick in 5x5 10 team league. Before trade I was pretty set on Pujols because figured Soriano was batting 8th with Yanks. Now Im completeley torn. Opinions please!

I'd take Soriano because of his position eligibility and his SB

I am having the same problem

Postby three_peat » Fri Feb 20, 2004 12:36 pm

but we have a 6x6 league with OBP as the additional batting cat.

I am more torn between Vlad and Pujols. If Vlad can just steal 20 bases he is worth it, but I am still torn.

Yes he has the SB but I don't see how you can pass up the much better average, probably slightly better HR and much better RBI.

I'm one of the few who would take Soriano over Pujols. To me the only major differences are SB and AVG. Soriano with 30+ more SB and Pujols with 40 pts AVG. Add to that Soriano is eligible at 2B, I'll take him #2 overall.
