Great outing ... against the Giants, which is currently like facing a AAA lineup.
If you can convince someone he's this year's Lincecum/Gallardo, I would sell.

Mets going to crush this guy I think. I foresee a HR from either Beltran or Wright in that game

Why?
The Mets aren't as deep offensively as people think. There are much better offensive teams out there. I could see another 5 IP type of game with solid peripherals.

Bump
So he struggled at the beggining of the year and at times is inconsistant w/ control, but he is now 7-0 in his last 8 starts. The cafe was buzzing about this guy prior to April. I haven't read anything about him since. The ERA is now under 4 and falling although the WHIP still leaves something to be desired. He keeps getting better as he gains confidence and experience. I hope others have been riding this streak. This guy is going to be a key piece to some championships down the stretch.

I think you have to give props to the Brewers for continuing to trot him out there despite his early struggles. There are a lot of teams going the bullpen route with young pitchers these days, but apparently there's still a case to be made for the more traditional way. I just hope he can continue to improve on the BB.
