Is it time to pick up Corey Patterson? He seems to have won the starting centerfield job in Cinncy with a great spring. It's hard to ignoring a guy who is a threat to steal 30-40 bases while giving you double digit HRs. So is it time to pick him up in all leagues?

He's a good pickup for sure, however..my league counts OBP so it makes him a lot less valuable.

Yeah I just saw that maybe I should hold him for a bit and see how he does in AAA but I'm afraid he could be hitting .500, Patterson, Hopper, Freel a combined .223 and Dusty still leave him in Louisville. I've also got Raji Davis maybe I should drop him for Patterson and hang tight with Bruce.

I like him a lot. That ballpark'll help his homer totals too. Remember for a long time he was hyped as 30/30 and actually hit 24 one year...

Meanwhile, his strikeout totals dipped last season, indicating that his BABIP was actually unlucky since his contact rate went up and his average inexplicably went down.
