Granted, they're not nearly as full of themselves as the national Fox guys, and not even a fraction of annoying as the White Sox guys (god I hope they lose 140 games this year, just because of those two)... but Mario and Rod definitely have their moments of ineptitude.
Between Mario knowing next to nothing about sports in general, and Rod's insistence on pretending like he was a good major league player, they have some pretty hilariously bad exchanges.
Add to that the HUUUUUUUGGGGGGGEEEEE drop off those two are after HoFer Ernie Harwell, and it definitely makes me want to turn off the volume and listen to the radio. Unfortunately, that would mean listening to the local broadcast, which is almost as bad, and one of those guys sounds like he just got done sprinting a marathon and then swallowed the microphone. The heavy breathing is enough make my wife want to get a restraining order against the guy.
Time to get XM and listen to all the opponent's broadcasts?
i feel your pain...if i have to hear the story about Kenny Rogers working on a strawberry farm one more time my buddy and i always say Kenny's working his "strawberry curve"
the best was the Craig Monroe walk-off in 2006 when Rod shouts out "HEDIDITAGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!" show some professionalism
Michael Kay. I am a die-hard Yankee fan and I can't even take his bias. The other day Wang was pitching and he was talking about how great of a job the Yankees Brass did at Wang's Arbtration hearing that not only did they rule in the Yankees favor but Wang "couldn't argue with their case" What a bunch of b/s. Like he knows what was said. You already have the Yankee play by play job and host "Center-Stage". Stop kissing arse.

Take your pick, Michael Kay, John Sterling or Susan Waldman...
