Average 2008 projections spreadsheet

Postby texasdomer » Wed Mar 19, 2008 4:07 pm

I just finished putting together a spreadsheet showing the average MLB stat projections for every player. I averaged ZIPS, Minor, Marcel, and Chone. If anyone wants a copy of the spreadsheet, PM me and I'll email it to you.

Thanks, this will be very helpful. Any chance of having holds and quality starts?

You may not know, but MLB.com has a spreadsheet that averages 7 different projection systems

I looked for that one but could only pull up the 2007 version. Do you have a link? Is it in the fantasy stats section?

Interesting, I just took that spreadsheet and used the data to form a composite for each player and then rank them, I'm thinking about punting steals so I eliminated SBs from the equation, Miguel Cabrera is ranked at 3 behind ARod and Pujols and right in front of Holliday.

I hate looking at projections, they usually project worse seasons which makes me feel bad O:-)
