When do players get placed on the DL?

It depends, some guys that need to be on the 60 day have been put on it already. I would think that most assignments should be made within the next week or so.

Anyone know why Yahoo doesn't have Chris Carpenter listed on the DL?

Don't teams have to put players on the DL before the 1st game of the season?? I need Lackey to go on the DL so I can pick up Parra!! ;-D

Yes, all injured players will be on the DL before the season starts. Otherwise the team would have to go into the season short men on their 25 man roster which is a terrible idea if you have a guy that can't play for at least 15 days anyway.
