Yahoo Minor League Addition Thread

I wanted to start a thread that we could check on all year long to notate when Yahoo adds stud minor leaguers to the system. Specific targets would include:

1. David Price
2. Clayton Kershaw
3. Johnny Cueto (will start the season in the majors - will be added to Yahoo upon official announcement...we will keep you updated)
4. Travis Snider
5. Alexi Ramirez

There will probably be other minor leaguers of note that are called up and we will want to know that too...

Cueto looks like he will start the season with Cincinnati so he should be showing up soon...let's use this forum to help each other out so that we can use our waivers effectively.

Feel free to add any minor leaguers to the list, and if we will create a master list for all of us to look for. If someone sees that a minor leaguer on our list has been added by Yahoo post on this thread, and I will update the list...

this is a very good idea. i've been checking almost daily for kershaw and cueto to show up on the database on yahoo for my dynasty league. i'm not sure why cueto hasn't been on it yet because he is likely to start in the rotation this year. i know kershaw is still only 20 and might not see the lineup unless someone gets hurt.

anyways...to keep this topic moving i guess...how do u guys rank those top pitching prospects. i think kershaw is the best guy out of the bunch, but don't know too much about the rest of the guys. which are K guys and which rely on groundballs and what not?

My top 4 for this year that are not in the Yahoo database go like this:

1. Price
2. Kershaw
3. Cueto
4. Snider

I too think this is a great idea as in my keeper league we can add prospects when they are added to yahoo However, i think rather than make a big list of players who we should look out for...i think that any slightly useful prospects that are added to yahoo should be posted here as many are at least useful to someone (deep leagues/holds leagues/rebuilding keepers)...

I for one plan to bookmark and receive notifications for this thread with the hopes we can keep it going....

I dont think Kershaw will make the rotation this year. I think Cueto will be the best option...he will be the #3 for Cinci from the start.

In Brandon Funston's Friends and Family feedback article today he stated that Yahoo would add Cueto as soon as he is officially announced as having made the 25 man roster.
