No Coast Death Squad needs your help! WHIR

This is the team I drafted for a 12 team, 5x5 yahoo default head-to-head league last week and I have already run into some trouble with injuries. With Pujols potentially going down I was able to draft Berkman with 1B eligibility as a potential backup. My trouble is apparent in the fact that my current number one starter is Lackey whose situation seems to be declining rapidly. Any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated and as always I will help in return so leave a link ;-D

C - J.R. Towles (Hou - C)
1B - Albert Pujols (StL - 1B)

OF - Hunter Pence (Hou - OF)
Util - Vernon Wells (Tor - OF)

I think Pujols will be OK. He's having a strong Spring, so I drafted him with confidence at #6 the other day. I think you've got a good mix in your offense, and with Swisher and Berman, I think you've got yourself covered should Pujols go down. For the record, I really like Swisher this year in Chicago. I am a bit concerned about speed for you, though.

As far pitching is concerned, I think your staff really hinges on Lackey's health. Cain will be a good #2, but I think Lackey needs to be there to hold down your staff. It's possible wainwright or mcgowan really steps up this year, but if not, Lackey's gotta be your guy. Here's hoping he's healthy. ;-D

I like your hitters. Solid depth, but as you mentioned, some concern over speed. I see you going 2-20 or 3-19 in SB this season, which really puts you at a disadvantage out of the gates.

As for your pitchers, I think you have it all correct in regards to Lackey. You have some nice sleeper options in McGowan, Wainwright and Olsen, but you could really use a guy like Carmona, Shields, Dice-K, etc. who have a better chance of performing well when compared to the ones I mentioned previously. Good closers.

Thanks for your help with mine.
