Taking Chipper at 7.2. I don't think it was a bad pick but:

12 team keeper league. Arod, Wright, MCab, ARam, Atkins, Figgins & Zimmerman were all keepers. So I was worried about 3B.

I had picks 6.11 and 7.2. The guy at the turn had Arod so I knew he would not take a 3B. I knew I did not want to reach for Beltre or Gordon at 8.11 or 9.2 and I figured they would both be gone at 10.11 seeing as it is a keeper. So I ended up taking Chipper at 7.2. I hoped that Francoeur or Delmon would fall to me at 8.11. Well as you can likely guess both Beltre and Gordon were still on the board at 10.11 and both Francoeur and Delmon were gone at 8.11. So in hind sight I should have taken Francoeur at 7.2 and than Beltre or Gordon at 10.11. Oh well I still like my team but I think it would be better if I had done that.

^ i think chipper at 7.2 is more likely a steal then a regret.

for me i took tex at #21. i like him a ton this year but it was probably a bad pick ahead of c.lee and beltran. and further compounded because i had to pass on the middle tier 1Bs as they fell further then expected. but could have been much worse considering i missed the beginning of the draft and phoned my first 2 picks in without looking at numbers.

Agree with Chipper being a good pick.

For me I'm regretting taking Beltran at 16 (would have taken Peavy or Crawford I think in retrospect).
I'm also regretting debating between Escobar and Shields and then picking Escobar.

Dominate is a verb. Dominant is an adjective.

Why are you regretting Kuroda?

1) Drafting Joba a round before Soria, when I could've reverse the pick and got both.

2) In a 14 team keeper I drafted Howard first (which isn't a bad pick in itself), but it caused me to pick BJ Upton over Tex (didn't want to lock up util spot in 2nd round). Then I drafted RMartin 3rd which I also regret, could've gotten a quality SP instead. But then I got Thome in 14th as a consolation.

Man...I play in a 16 team 6x6 league. The draft is very inpredictable and it's tough to know what you will be able to reach on your next pick.

This is my draft. There are a lot of chances in that draft, but in this league I find you have to take them. Hafner at 31 overall is a chance. Markakis at 41 overall is a small reach. But I wanted those players and that was my only chance to get them.

I could say that about any of these picks. It's amazing how almost every guy I was targeting at a pick after round 7 was gone when It got back to me.

Don't feel bad. With the waythe draft is slotted, esp in a large league, some players are just out of reach unless you do a little reaching.
