Is this trade vetoable? People in my league are complaining like crazy, saying the Howard/Sizemore wins easily.

does the Howard/Sizemore side win? yes. but that alone does not mean that a trade should be be vetoed. Reyes is the best player and the only lock first round pick. Howard is a late 1st or early 2nd with Sizemore as a second round pick. Rios is a 3td round pick so it isn't a terrible trade.

It's slightly unbalanced but if they're going to veto that trade than they might as well not allow trades. What if the Howard/Sizemore side had an abundance of power and wanted to upgrade SBs? If it's a league with batter K's than that's also a major cat upgrade for the Howard/Sizemore side. I think that Rios < Sizemore, but I also think that Howard < Reyes especially if you need runs/steals more than power.

Trade looks fine to me.
0-3 to 4-3. Worst choke in the history of baseball. Enough said.

I don't see any problem at all with that trade. Reyes is arguably the most valuable player in a 4X4 or 5X5 league.

Personally, I think you could make a pretty good argument that Rios and Reyes are overall more valuable then Howard/Sizemore. If you go by dollar values, depending on you projections, it wouldn't surprise me at all if plenty of people had the Rios/Reyes package as worth $5 or so more then Howard/Sizemore. Throw in the fact that you are getting harder to come by SBs and that Reyes is a SS, I'd favor the Rios/Reyes package.

I think it was said before and I'll second it: if your league isn't going to allow trades like this, they shouldn't allow trades at all.

I completely agree. I looks like you've got a league full of people vetoing because someone other than themselves is possibly benefitting. Don't be surprised if NO trades are ever accepted. Textbook example of why any fantasy league should be by "commissioner review" only. Avoid league voting.
