Not enough power? Draft strategy off?

I went into the draft with Reyes, D. Wright, Miguel Cabrera and Carl Crawford as keepers.

I wanted power but in an effort to fill my pitching staff may not have met that need.

(R, 1B, 2B, 3B, HR, RBI, BB, K, SB - IN, W, L, CG, SO, SV, ERA, K, WHiP)

I ended up with (round following pick, first 4 "rounds" were keepers):

Since I had 4 offensive guys to start and there aren't many tier 1-2-3 pitchers, I tried to load up early on pitching while getting a decent 1Bman with power in what really was round 1. I thought since OF was easier to fill than other areas throughout the year, I could afford to wait.

I felt good throughout the draft, then after it was over wasn't really all that thrilled with it. Maybe I should have spent more time on offense to start, but most of the big power guys were keepers for others.

How many teams in your league?

I think you're fine power-wise, with pronk, wright, cabrera, andruw, dye. I think you have a nicely balanced team, good speed, good pitching staff thatll get you plenty of strikeouts.

I'm hoping I get Dye and Jones from 2006 and not the 2007 versions (though not horrible).

The team looks decent enough, it has enough power as it is. Balanced and effective.
