What kind of numbers do you see him putting up this year?

Where would you draft him? I know the most common response will be "he is going to be drafted too early by someone looking at last years stats" but where would you consider taking him if no one else took him?

Can he be a top 20 pitcher again this year?

He is a High risk....good reward player....I really don't expect him to repeat last year...and given his track record...he really could fall badly....I would't touch him until the low to mid teen rounds....If he goes before that...let someone else risk him... :-)

Don't u know that that name is taboo at the cafe.

Madison has brainwashed all of us to follow the ways of HATEing the man u speak ff.

He will blow up, he is a 1 year wonder. No way he does anything this year.

Ok he might be solid and win 15 games w/ an ERA of 4. that is very possible.

Another 20 wins and 3 ERA? Maybe highly doubt it.

Don't take him early and dont draft him unles u get a bargain. Odds are someone in ur league will take him way to early.

He is a HUGE RISK

I read in another post that Madison had all the answers why "the man I speak of" wouldn't repeat. But I couldn't find any of them in the search function on this site. Too many posts about "the man I speak of" to find the ones Madison wrote.

And I wasn't about to go seaching through all of Madison's posts. LOL

Maybe someone could give me a link to any of the threads with Madison's brainwashing in them.

I personally wouldn't touch him until the later rounds when I know he will not be around to even consider anyway, but there is no way you fluke a full season pitching in the majors like that. Yes you can be fairly certain that he will not exceed 2003 numbers and yes he could implode but I would not be totally surprised if he did put up reasonable stats again. He had always started off well enough in previous years and showed plenty of ability but never showed any consistency. You cannot knock him on that score last year.

JUN BAA .244
JUL BAA .263
AUG BAA .228
SEP BAA .250

No way you can write him off for certain until it happens. Anyone that does is just guessing and hoping.

For the most part he'll be under-rated. You don't pitch an entire season that well by fluke. Call it what you like, but he was reported to have learned a new pitch last season, got out of 2 notorious hitting parks (Arlington and SkyDome), and no longer had to face AL East hitters on a consistent basis.

Here is what I see from him:

3.55 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, 16 W, 200 K. Wherever you rank a player who will get those numbers, that's where I'd rank Loaiza.
