This is standard 5x5 12 team roto. I have claimed Maddux off of waivers, and will hopefully be dropping Ortiz for him. Any glaring weaknesses, besides having only 1 closer and no backup catcher?

Biggest weakness is at 2B, Walker is going to split time with Gruzilanik at 2B for the Cubs.

I see Santiago being a weakness at Catcher, but It depends on your opinion of him.

Other than that I would say SP is you weakest spot, getting Maddox helps, but your SP isn't bad, just your weak point (after 2nd and C)
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. -Crash Davis

Well I just proposed a trade.

I'd receive -
M. Prior and H. Matsui

I'd give -
J. Damon and K. Escobar

You need to get a couple of closers.

There will come a day when Barry Bonds leaves baseball, and everything about the game will be the better for it.

You just made me laugh. Good job at proposing an idiotic trade that will never get accepted.

Your trade offer has no chance of being accepted unless the other owner is a complete idiot. I'm guessing you are new to Fantasy Baseball.....? While there is certainly some merit to offering a starting trade proposal a little low or undervalued, it could really turn off potential trade partners if it is perceived as lowballing, which I think this may qualify as. NO ONE is likely to give up Prior, unless you blow them away with an offer, which would probably mean you'd be giving up too much......

HAHAHA!! That's a good one.

That's a better trade than the Edgar Martinez (util only) for Juan Pierre someone offered me. ;-D

The worst that happens is I up my offer, and give up a better starting pitcher. Besides, if he is a dumbass I get over big time.
