CHEATER IN MY LEAGUE!!!

Im the commish in Private Yahoo League with 12 teams...the problem is that the one person drafted two teams and is making absurd trades. Since it is a private league, Yahoo can't do anything about it, so I was thinking of either 1) locking the league. I really dont like that option but a redraft would be more fair to all owners. Or 2) drop all of his players and pick up according to Waiver Priority.

Has anyone ever ran into this problem? Any other ideas on what I should do? This is my first time commishing a league so I feel rather lost so far...All i want is to have a fair and fun league

Redraft. Dropping players is one of those things that everyone wants to do until they think about it some more. One team gets an extra first round pick while another gets an extra 11th round pick? Talk about a value slap in the face.

Two options: redraft or lock those teams, moving as many players as possible to reserve.

As WAB mentioned, waivers creates a huge value disparity and isn't fair. A redraft is fine as everyone starts off from scratch and locking the teams is fine as those players are just taken out of circulation (you hear people whine that, "but then I can't use so-and-so" as if they would've been traded to them anyways, but whatever). Either solution is fine.

Just because the league is not a PUBLIC Yahoo league doesn't mean Yahoo cannot help you.

Lock the teams, reverse the trades yourself.

Then find two people to replace the teams.

After you have found the replacements, get their Yahoo ID and an email address from them.

Then email Yahoo fantasy sports help desk, explain the situation, let them know the two teams being replaced and give them the information for the two new teams.

Should work (has happened in two leagues I have been in).
