Evan Longoria wasn't included in Triple-A Durham's lineup Friday, leading to speculation that he could be on his way to the majors to replace Willy Aybar.
Aybar may be DL bound because of a hamstring injury. If Longoria comes up now, it probably wouldn't be a permanent promotion -- ideally, the Rays want him spending seven or eight weeks in the minors to guarantee he's not a super-two player at the end of 2010 -- but perhaps he could force the team to keep him.

Rotoworld just reported that he is being called up for Saturday, with Aybar going on the DL.

ya... I would say FOR SURE. The upside is huge and you're not going to miss keppinger.
