Ethier has been named starting left fielder, as expected.

i have a feeling this might be more of a coco crisp/ellsbury situation than a straight bench for pierre just because of his fat contract. the problem is ethier hits LHP well but that hasn't held back the dodgers from sitting him against them in the past.

Kemp not starting tonight, according to ESPN. Either in Right, Pierre in Left...hope we're not looking at some sort of platoon here...

Ugh. I knew I should have sold high on Kemp heading into the season. The potential is so tantalizing but the writing has been on the wall over the past week or so for a less than full time gig. At this point I suggest we start taking up donations from the greater fantasy baseball community to help the dodgers deal Pierre with our our collections offsetting the money they would have to eat. Its the difference between three good options and three annoying options.

Jones is the guy they should boot. But it cant happen. Writers are already pegging Jones as possibly the worst FA pick-up of all time.

He has a way to go before he catches up with Zito and Carl Pavano.
