Seriously, though, they said the job is his as long as he doesn't struggle...

The only problem is a) they won't win a ton, and b) their set up men aren't super great either, so, getting to the 9th with a save situation might be remote...

Don't worry too much about them not winning a lot of games. I was reading an article a few weeks ago that compared closers on winning teams to closers on bad teams, and there was a negligible difference. I think he's a decent late round option for a 25-30 save guy.

They may not win many games, but when they do win..it will be close games which means he will get save opps.

News: Giants closer Brian Wilson blew a save opportunity in his latest spring appearance Friday against the White Sox. He allowed three runs off three hits in the top of the ninth inning. He allowed a double and a triple in the inning.

I have him on my bench as my 3rd closer...was hoping he would be good but his ST hasn't been very promising. He was very good last season though, so I'll give him some time..
