I know it is only ST. But he only has one HR and is only hitting .237. Any thoughts to why? I could understand if he was hitting say .750 in spring training against some young pitching, but thats not the case.

Means nothing, many elite players are doing crappy in ST

He did look terrible against the Rockies in the playoffs. I bet it is going Brad Lidge him.
but seriously - Spring Training people are working on things and trying new stuff - I wouldn't read into it much.

you had me at spring training.
However I will say I'm slightly worried about Utley because of the broken hand from last year, sometimes those things can cause problems even the next year. Emphasis on the slightly.
