I've seen reports that Buck is going to use him all over the field, but I havent heard anything concerning where he'll be batting. If he bats third, I feel that his value surpasses that of Vlad. What do you fellow cafers' think?

Latest I heard was that he would be playing mostly CF with some time at 2B. Guess we'll see in a few weeks!

the projected lineup i saw had him batting 3rd between blalock and fullmer, with Tex hitting 5th

i see him batting leadoff, but he might bat 3rd... either way he should get 35+ hr's and 100+ rbi ;-D

If I were Showalter, he'd bat 3rd. You can't bat him leadoff because the young Texas hitters need the protection in the lineup.

I hope its 3rd. That would be a wet dream. His rbi total would go up by 30.

thats what I saw too but I think he will probably end up batting leadoff
