Yahoo! really no longer has criteria. It used to previously be that a player had to play in a MLB game before being added to the player pool. Last year I believe was the first where they just started including random prospects and adding others whenever they pleased. I've sent to contact them e-mails about Cueto and adding him to the player pool if they are going to have other prospects available. Maybe they'll speed up the process if some other cafe visitors send them the same messages. Maybe wishful thinking, lol.

Cueto's available in CBS leagues... is he worth adding in place of Juan Pierre , Mussina, Wandy Rodriguez or John Patterson ?

When Cueto hits the WW is he worth spending the #1 waiver priority on?

Just dropped James for Cueto! Nice, I was wondered when a glimpse of hope would leak. I also grabbed Parra the other night...hopefully both young studs will round out my roatation of Webb, Oswalt, Bondo, Blanton, and Kelvim (once he returns).

Anyone want to throw out some numbers on Cueto to give us an idea of what we are looking at?

Luckily I snagged Cueto in the last round of my draft...is there any word on how this rotation is going to shake down? Sounds like Belisle has a sore elbow so he'll likely start out in the pen...

Per CBSSports

News: MLB.com reports that Edinson Volquez has all but locked up a rotation slot as the Reds fifth starter despite the fact that manager Dusty Baker refuses to announce it. "It's not set yet -- we still have some action," Baker said. "It's pretty set -- except for that fifth spot, basically. I hate to tell young kids that they're [in] there too soon, in case something happens and you have to go back on your word for whatever reason. Plus, you want to keep them motivated and driven through Spring Training."
Analysis: Volquez pitched two scoreless innings of relief on Thursday vs. the Twins. "[On Thursday], he actually went two, simply because he was going on one day short of rest in order to get things in sync for the rotation," Baker said. That sounds pretty promising for Volquez, who will now become a worthy addition in NL-only play. He's even a good sleeper pick in mixed formats for his strikeout potential.
