How do you guys predict bagwell will do this year? do you think he declines as he is getting older, has a better year than last, way worst than last or just a little worse than last? personally i think that he will do as good or a little better as last year, but i like bagwell? Well guys appreciate your responses.
Reyes and guerrero, the two most blessed players in the league, not to mention the most fun to watch
I think Bags should do the same or a little better than last year....I have him as the #7 rated 1B....
Useless Trivia of the day
England's Worcester Canoe Club set the world record for paddling a hand-propelled bathtub. The 25 man team covered a distance of 55 miles, 425 yards in 24 hours on September 28 and 29, 1979.
Kent's projections probably aren't far off, but the downward slide for Bagpipes is clearly happening. Probably would be best for him to move to the AL where he could play DH and have less ware and tear.
I would like to hear some reasons why Bagwell should be expected to improve over his stats from last season.
It's not like his numbers were skewed last season because of major injuries. And he has battled occasional slumps ever since he lost bat speed after his shoulder surgery in 2001.
Another year older, I think Bagwell is going to have a lot of difficulty topping 35 hr, 100 rbis and 100 runs again.
