Can someone help a rookie here?

Can someone help a rookie here?

Postby Cardphan » Mon Mar 17, 2008 9:27 am

This is my first time playing fantasy baseball, and i think i get the jist of it. But I received this league message and I don't really understand:

Do we want to set pitching limits for the year at # of starts allowed or # of innings pitched allowed. My vote is innings pitched to make more balanced pitching staffs and to keep starters and relievers at an equal level.

Do we want a limit on starts at offensive positions. I say we go with 162 at each position because a more active owner can take advantage if no limits.

Can someone please briefly explain how these limits work and how I can best take advantage of them?
