Freshly Drafted 9 Team Roto - WHIR

Postby trueaskew » Mon Mar 17, 2008 3:50 am

So it begins.

My friends and I drafted this morning. It's hard to get a proper evaluation of my team from any of my leaguemates because they all like to believe that their teams are the best ones, respectively. I am no exception.

Overall, I am satisfied. Take a look...

You have a lot of power and you could use a little bit of speed. I dont like Salty but it depends on when you picked him in the draft I guess. If you make daily lineup changes I would also look for another SP as with only 4 SP an Kaz having a minor elbow problem I would get a safety net just in case.

Also how many OFs do you start?

Help if you can

very solid team. you have great hitting the only thing i don't like is salt. starting, but that is just one man's opinion. only thing i would be concerned about is your SP. i know it a roto league but 2 out of your 4 pitchers havn't played a full season in...i don't know how long. also oswalt is getting up in age and could go down at any second. i would keep an eye on the WW and pick up at least 1-2 more pitchers.

help with mine?

I like Salty... but he might be starting the season at AAA... what is on the WW for catcher?

Also, your SP is really shallow... you can never count on Harden... I have him too but I am assuming he'll be hurt and anything he gives me is a plus.

What is on the WW for pitching? And how many bench spots do you have?

Two things I would do if you have the bench room: Pick up a C that will definitely be an opening day starter in case salty starts in AAA. And grab another starter for when Harden inevitably goes down. If you don't have the bench room just be prepared to make those moves when it comes time to.

Help me out?
