Melky Cabrera batting Leadoff for the Yanks?

Cabrera sure has been batting leadoff alot in over the last 2 weeks in ST and doing extremely well as he raised his ave to to .414..I personally am not a huge Damon fan and feel by his slowing down with injuries and being 35 later this year there may be a changing of the guard at leadoff for the Yanks..Cabrera has plus speed (which is key) and I feel would be a good fit for leadoff.

As a Melky owner in a 20 team dynasty, I would LOVE to see this happen. I'm just not sure his OBP is high enough to justify putting him in that spot.

But if he can raise his batting average a few points and draw a few more walks, this would be a great situation for Melky owners.

He finished with a .327 OBP last year...not leadoff material. Damon isn't their best leadoff option either...Jeter is. Jeter in the 2-hole is pretty much set in stone, though. Damon is known for being a leadoff hitter, so even though his OBP generally hovers around .360, he'll likely stay there.

The consensus on him is that he needs some more time at AAA. For him to be able to play in the majors he needs to be able to sustain a high OBP. He'll at least be up in September I would imagine, and he could end up earlier is he is playing well and injuries strike.
