Just drafted, Please Rate 6X6

I just drafted my team in a H2H 6X6 league with standard categories and total bases and K's/9 added. I realize Lackey is hurt and this bothers me but I got him in the 8th round and couldn't pass! Thanks for your help and as alwasy WHIR...I had the second pick.

Thanks for the comments! i may try to deal Zimmerman for another SP as I would be content inserting Butler in Util position as he should have a great year!

i think that you have a solid team. you do have wright and upton for steals but could maybe use a few more but shop waivers for those. try bourn for waiver steals. also your top 3 pitchers are now projected to miss time to start the year. once they do play they will be good but for a few weeks here they will be on the DL to start

I would have also grabbed Lackey in the 8th. Thats very nice value there.

Apart from the question marks (injuries) surrounding Kazmir and Lackey you have a very nice team. I like the idea of dealing Zim for some pitching depth and moving Butler to your UTIL spot.

Maybe target an arm like Smoltz, CYoung or Oswalt

Thanks for the response guys...I hate the fact that Lackey is on the mend, it reminds me of when I drafted Carpenter last year which killed me. Unfortunately Bourn was drafted as I was targeting him for a late round pick, I skipped over Victorino in the draft as well because I like Young's upside. The steal guys still available are Patterson, Owens, Willits.

There were some big drops in my league yesterday and am curious if I should pick these guys up given my team. Bourn is real tempting with his steals...

It seems like you have a soid team save for pitching, which has been discussed already. If weeks is avail. I would pick him up if possible.

WHo should I drop for Weeks? Also I am thinking of dealing Sherrill with th ehype now and I can always pick up a closer in the future

Possibly Butler? But your squad seems solid. Weeks will give you stolen bases. If you need them. Or maybe Garza.
