JUST drafted, rate my team! (WHIR)

I'm a veteran at fantasy football and hockey but this is a first for baseball so bear that in mind. It's a 5x5 10 player league h2h and instead of generic OF positions we used LF, RF & CF. Here goes:

RF - Brad Hawpe (12)

BN - Derrek Lee (6)
BN - Jacoby Ellsbury (15)
BN - Evan Longoria (18)
BN - Cameron Maybin (20)
BN - Billy Butler (21)

SP - Cole Hamels (7)
SP - Fausto Carmona (11)
RP - Huston Street (13)
RP - Jason Isringhausen (14)
P - Dustin McGowan (16)
P - Adam Wainwright (17)
P - Eric Gagne (19)

Obviously I'm a bit overloaded at 1B, so I was thinking of trading for Chone Figgins and offering either Derrik Lee, Brad Hawpe or possibly Lance Berkman but I'm not sure. I like Figgins though, I could probably use some more speed and I like his versatility. I'm probably weak with pitching though I'm sure, our league went nuts taking pitchers early which is why I ended up with Lee, Hawpe and Berkman, lol.

Talk about the understatement of the century. You need some speed upgrades cuz Sizemore can't carry you alone. You are essentially giving up one category each week, which in turn guarantees you at least 22 losses(22 weeks in the season). I like your rotation, and while you might not win the Wins and Ks category each week, you have a solid opportunity to win ERA and WHIP each week, barring injuries. I would look to package Ellsbury, Longoria and/or Beltran for some speed and a decent starter.

I wouldn't say you will lose steals every single week. You have 3 legitimate guys that can steal you bags. Sizemore, Wright, and Beltran. Each should get you at least 20 stolen bases. While that is not a ton some weeks could be better than others. Of course getting a guy like Figgins would be a huge help in that category, and if you can pull off a deal for him than I would do it!

I'd say you are a little week in SB's, wins and K's but otherwise I like your team a lot. Your offense is ridiculously good and you have tons of power to spare to improve in the categorize that you are weak in. If I were you I would seek SB's from a cheaper option than Figgins though. Maybe Tavares, Gathright, Owens. You may be able to find some SB's on the waiver wire. Good luck.

Looks like a very solid team, and it seems you have a good plan in mind. I'd look to trade Derrek Lee for a stolen base guy (Victorino is a great target and you might be able to pull Victorino + a decent SP for Lee). You also might be able to work a deal like Berkman/Hawpe for Crawford. Then you could slide Lee in at 1B and Craw into your OF.
