    6 - Matt LaPorta (MIL - 1B/OF)
    7 - Tyler Colvin (CHC - OF)
    8 - James McDonald (LAD - SP)

Okay, so I am debating a temporary move to allow me to make a waiver claim on JD Drew later tonight. Our league allows us to demote players who are 1) considered MLB rookies, 2) are in the minors on a rehab assignment or 3) are sent down to the minors by their parent MLB club. Chuck James will be starting the season in AAA due to rehab from a sore shoulder. Therefore, I am allowed to demote James. JD Drew is set to clear waivers tomorrow. I am considering making a waiver claim for him, but the only two options I have come up with would be to: 1) drop Baldelli(who will be DLed sometime in the near future) OR 2) to demote James to free up a roster spot.

Considering my major league roster and team needs, how would you rank my 8 farm club prospects?

My ranking would be as follows:
    LaPorta
    Brignac
    Niemann
    Colvin
    Gallagher/McDonald
    Moore
    Moss

Honestly? It doesn't look that good. I know 20 team dynasties can be tough, because I'm a few myself. Let me ask you, where have you finished lately in the league? I'm guessing middle of the pack or so, you have guys that can produce but not enough to make a real run.

Anyways your top 3 prospects have nice potential, but after that it gets hazy. My advice would be to start drafting guys with better upside and never worry about what you have filled on your ML roster.

Drop Rocco: he is done.

As for your minor league squad, you have 3 solid guys, and then not much else. LaPorta, Brignac, & Niemann are the real gems there.
