Josh Hamilton, what can you expect?

Postby krunchyfrogg » Sun Mar 16, 2008 8:15 pm

Is .280/ 30/ 90 reasonable?

Will he steal any bases?
Looking forward to back to back championships in 2011!

I think that's within reason. I think he's good for about 10 steals. He sure is tearing it up this spring. His average is over .600.

to hit righties very well
to struggle against lefties
to have nagging injuries all season

"Where should I start?" marveled All-Star shortstop Michael Young. "I mean, [his] abilities are off the chart. In my lifetime I have played with just one guy who was at that level, and that was Alex Rodriguez. That's saying a lot.

"But he does everything well on the field. I take that back: He does everything on the field at a high level. I take that back too: He does everything on the field at the highest level."

Obviously he is impressing his teammates :-B

I just hope the ST hype doesn't cause people to have unreasonable expectations.
