H2HWS Team Drafted

Postby Mugrila » Sun Mar 16, 2008 7:26 pm

12 team H2H, R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, OPS, W, SV, K, HLD, ERA, WHIP

I had the 5th pick but I slept through the first round, which was a bummer because I got stuck with Pujols instead of Holliday or MCab.

C-Towles (19)
1b-Pujols (1)
2b-Weeks (9)
3b-Gordon (11)
SS-Tejada (7)
CF-Rios (3)
OF-Vlad (2)
OF-Markakis (5)
Util-Encarnacion (13)
Bn-Hermida (16)
Bn-Kent (17)

SP-CC Sabathia (4)
SP-Verlander (6)
RP-Soriano (10)
RP-Soria (12)
P-Betancourt (15)
P-Rauch (18)
Bn-Lincecum (8)
Bn-Hudson (14)
Bn-Carpenter (20)

I like what I have, but I do wish I had Holliday. What do you think?

Veh nice.

When you stash Carpenter on the DL, who are you thinking of picking up?

I would've taken Holliday. I believe he was a top 3 pick in all 3 of my H2HWS leagues. Much safer pick than Pujols and on top of that, he could run a little more this year.

I think your team is solid nonetheless. You seem offensively sound to me and although your SP seems a bit shallow, it's quality. RP is a nasty bunch.

Take a look at my H2HWS club:

You've got a good shot at 2nd ;-) All of your picks were solid, I did feel bad when I could tell you were about to autodraft Pujols. You should have a good shot at a championship as long as Pujols plays the whole season, it could be a blessing in disguise that you picked him.

Not much to add to the other comments, really. Pujols' health will play a big factor in your season, obviously, but you still managed to get what is probably the best OF in the league. And there's no real weakness in the rest of your hitting either.

Just find a decent starter to take Carp's spot and you look good to go ;-D
