A little help with catchers

Postby horatio » Sun Mar 16, 2008 6:07 pm

So it's highly unlikely that any of the best catchers will be on my team so i expect to be drafting catcher at the end. It looks like there are plenty of decent options but I'm having a little trouble choosing between the guys who I expect will remain when i'm ready to go fishing for a backstop. How would you y'all rank Ivanrod, Molina, Napoli, RHernandez, RPaulino, and Pierzynski (I guess)? I have yet to see Soto or Towles last past the 15th round so I didn't add them to the list and I've even considered Kurt Suzuki as an option (what can I say I'm an A's fan).

I actually have been drafting Benjie Molina in my drafts. I've been getting him in the last rounds.

19 HRS in each of the past 2 seasons, hits for around .280, and is batting clean-up for the Giants..so should get a decent amount of RBI.
