Drafted 3rd of 14. Penny for your thoughts?

I waited as long as i could to go after a Catcher. Vmart, Martin, Mauer and McCann all went early so I figured to wait... unfortunately it was too late. Here's to a sleeper year on Towels.
In your Opinion does it compete? I feel it does, just not my best drafts. Pitching is my strength.

Not much to choose from off the waiver right now. Once everyone starts adjusting rosters I'm sure a "gem" will get dropped.
Just looking for thoughts in the meantime.

Thome's a big big ? this year and Hafner I'm hoping will bounce back but I'm not holding my breath. Towles isn't a bad C to have but obviously not an A player. Your pitching is the strength of your team and I like your reserves. Not a bad draft overall.

I wasn't big on drafting Thome this year, or any year for that matter but in a 14 team league and you're selecting your 171st pick and Thome is sitting there, how could I not take him. The plan was to use him as a "throw in" for trades.

I'd like to add a 20/20 guy to my team as well.
