LaPorta / Marrero / Heyward

Postby coolmonk » Sun Mar 16, 2008 4:26 pm

I am in a keeper league and we are conducting our rookie draft.

I am torn between LaPorta, Marrero, and Heyward

Please rank them in the order you would pick and explain why or how large a margin it is.

Much, much appreciated!

Heyward
LaPorta
Marrero

If you need a more immediate impact go with LaPorta, but if you're willing to wait a couple more years take Heyward.

Jason Heyward

Matt LaPorta

Chris Marrero

I think Heyward will be a all-star. Think .290 with 40+ hr power.

I think Laporta will be a solid regualr with good power. Think .270 with 35+ power.

I think Marrero will be a good player, but an average offensive 1st basemen. Think .260 with 30+ power.
