Postby chris8 » Sun Mar 16, 2008 11:09 am

SS - Derek Jeter (Rd 4)
CF - Corey Hart (Rd 5)
OF - Adam Dunn (Rd 3)
OF - Hideki Matsui (Rd 9)
Util - Pat Burrell (Rd 12)
Bn - Lastings Milledge (Rd 20)

SP - Aaron Harang (Rd 6)
SP - Rich Hill (Rd 8)
RP - BJ Ryan (Rd 14)
RP - Matt Capps (Rd 11)
P - Brian Wilson (Rd 16)
P - Brian Fuentes (Rd 18)
Bn - Brett Myers (Rd 10)
Bn - Ian Snell (Rd 13)

I have learned to never doubt a team led by Mr. chris8. Looks like a very solid team. I imagine you will definitely be in the hunt.

Looks good on offense I would say Dunn in the 3rd isn't very good value and having Burell as a UT is scary stuff. Looks like you might have some problems with your SP if Hill and Myers don't bring there A stuff all year long. Overall middle of the pack team 3rd or 4th if you get lucky with the pitchers.

help on mine?

For 14 teams I think you're looking really good. Not really a weak offensive position in there.

I think you have the strongest team of all of our teams in the World Series this year (I can see why you won 3 in a row :-b).

I said I loved the M-Cab/Tex combo and I really like your top 5 picks, even the Dunn one (I can't stand his streakiness for being an OPS beast though). You made some solid bargain picks later on that I also liked (Johnson at 15, Matsui at 9). You managed to get really solid pitching as well to compete, given how most of our other competitors have rather shallow pitching. I'd say you're in pole position to win, but just know my team isn't that far behind either especially if I have a few guys continuing to improve (i.e. Loney, Butler). }:-)

Good to great off.- Your pitching is good, but not great- You have Harang who is a #1, but Hill could turn into a #1 (I think he will) or he could struggle- and then you're going with Meyers or Snell as your #2. Other then that, goos team.

Your team turned out really well, I would have believed it was a 12-teamer. You don't have any weaknesses in your offense, although I probably wouldn't take Dunn in the 3rd personally even in an OPS. You wait on pitching, but were still able to put together a solid staff. ;-D

Good looking, but I bet Milledge takes over Matsui's spot in your lineup before 2 months into the season.

Maybe you could use another solid base stealer, but I really like your team. I'd definitely see this roster contending. ;-D
