Clearly my aim was to load up on bats and mid-tier pitching. Unfortunately, a few of the mid-tier pitchers I was targeting left early as there was a huge SP run between picks 100 and 120. I've always tended to draft as many 5-tool bats as possible because the lower variance in HR and SBs protects against the collapse of one big time speedster, i.e. Scott Podsednik. The one thing I feel like I might be missing is one more power bat. I'm considering shopping Crawford for Howard or someone like that. This is something I didn't see happening when I picked Crawford 11th -- picking up steals in the second round was force of habit!

Wow, very good team...i would start Joba though. he shud i have a very solid season. put wainwright on the bench for him.

I really like Joba too. I have him, and am already fielding offers onhim. I think your bats are pretty damn solid. I like the idea of upgrading for another big bat, as you will want to watch Pujols and the surgery talk. I don't think he will, but he easily could get shut down 1\2 way. I don't know about getting rid of Carl, I think the Rays are going to be really good this year.

Thanks guys. Unfortunately Joba is only RP eligible in ESPN right now. I didn't notice this when I drafted him and I might have passed on him for now if I realized this was the case, might have taken Bucholz instead but I hate the Sox and don't care that it's just fantasy. Oh well, I can always keep him on the bench until he starts.

Yeah, if this was a re-draft I would have taken Howard instead of Pujols. But I'm not too concerned about the injury talk. If he needs surgery it will hurt me down the stretch this year, but might help in future years. The prospect of having a 28 year old Pujols on my team indefinitely was too much to pass up!
