Hank needs to learn to stay away from cameras and microphones. He looks worse and worse everytime he opens his mouth. If you don't want to subsidize other teams, stop overpaying for players who aren't worth the money. How much are they paying guys like mussina and pavano and giambi and even damon. There is a reason they went to the yankees, which is why the market starts with the yankees, if they want a player, and an agent says, we need this much per year over this any years to sign there, the yankees dont look at it and say no, they say, ok if thats what it will take, here ya go. The yankes throw money around like its nothing, then after 2-3-4 years the player they overpaid for is useless, they are stuck with them. How many times did they try to void Giambi's contract for the steroid use? Probably more than we know. But they gave him a 7 year deal for ridiculous money and now they are stuck with him, just like mussina, and pavano.
