Projections via John Benson

Lastings Milledge
.276 15/70/12

Adam Jones
.272 26/80/12

He obviously thinks that Jones will have a great year, he is also very high on some other youngsters such as Cameron Maybin and Carlos Gomez

Maybin
.280 13/77/26

Gomez
.277 11/59/34

John Benson is still around?

No way AJones hits 26 hrs.

I like Milledge more this year.

I like Jones much more than Millege this year. Jones will finally be given a full time starting job, and while those predicted stats are a bit high, I can see him having a 20HR 80RBI year.

I like Milldege slightly more than Jones for this year. Maybe I'm jumping on the Milledge bandwagon bc of his nice spring but I can see him going 20/20.

I'll second that. Someday, but not in '08.

Both are in pretty secure situations where they'll be allowed to succeed or struggle without a lot of time-share interference, so they're good late-round, upside options. My redraft sheet has Milledge slightly ahead overall.

Here is his website: http://www.johnbenson.com/

I bought Benson's software this year, the software allows you to do a lot of things as far as comparing teams and evaluating needs/budgets. Some of the projections aren't great, but the software is very useful. I don't really know a whole lot about Benson himself.
