2008 Church vs. Kubel

Who has the bigger year? They seem to be somewhat reasonably matched OF's. Church switches to a bit more friendly ballpark. Might have to compete a bit more for at bats though?

Both seem to have reasonable upside, but Kubel has age on his side and seems to be hitting the prime years. (26 in late May)

If I had to guess who'll have the better fantasy season I'd probably say Kubel. What does everyone think?

Concerning Church, I do not think he will have to compete for AB. Most of the Mets OF depth will be concentrated on filling in LF while Alou is on the DL. However, the Mets will probably be susceptible to LHP and losing Alou for any stretch of time exacerbates the problem. So Church may find himself him in a platoon situation quickly. From a fantasy perspective, that's probably not a bad thing.

I don't know, depends on the format and depth of the league I guess. In a weekly league probably not. In a daily league he can be paired up with someone else to make a decent player, more so in deeper leagues.
