This will be my first year at cbs sportsline fantasy bb. I am used to yahoo's and will have to adjust to the changes between the 2 services.
For those of you that play at CBS, do I really have to draft 2 catchers? It seems while OF has 5 spots, the other positions have only one spot except catcher. This sounds odd since catcher is a hard spot to fill decently. Can anyone tell me whats up with the 2 catcher thing?
I believe the previous post is wrong. I've played CBS for 3 years and in my experience I've had to not only have 2 catchers on my roster but start 2 catchers as well. So you MUST draft 2 catchers and you have to start 2 catchers.
Well actually I guess you don't have to start 2 catchers but it will leave a hole in your lineup if you don't.

I see..I guess I will have to keep my eyes on the catchers so that I end up with 2 decent ones.
I dont know what kind of league Im getting into except I want to play Roto-5x5. Any suggestions? I am looking for competitive league. I played on yahoo for few yrs and moving on for better prizes than a plaque...
Also, Do you guys play the Platinum or Diamond? Im guessing there is fierce competition there. Since this is my first sportsline league, I am doing gold, but I would definetly try those expensive ones for the $$$ prize!
Hi, catcher is a very thin position, if you don't get on of the better ones as your 2nd C, it may be worth just concentrating on other positions and grabbing the 2nd catcher at the end, from about the 12th ranked onwards they all put up very similar stats.
May also be an idea to see what other players are eligible at C but play at other positions, LeCroy, Jason Phillips etc., and try and sneak one of those in...
