Leave a link and I'll glady return the favor...
Your draft was not so bad. I'd cut Hampton or even Taveras though for Michael Bourn but even then I think you need one outfielder that can hit for power. Maybe a guy you can deal for would be Dye (Buy Low), or Cust. Maybe Hermida is out there and you can take a chance on also. Your starters after your top 3 are pretty thin also. Maybe I'd try a guy like Franklin Morales or Bronson Arroyo, if he is out there over Hampton or even Bannister.
Not to shabby at all... MCab/ Ortiz: nice 1-2 punch! Wiggington in the 20th round seems like a bargain (cheap 25 HR's potential). My only concerns: 1. I'm not sold on Haren, especially at 5th round value. 2. There are several pitchers after the 300-rank I would rather have than Hampton but that's a small point of course.
Bourn is taken. I was considering him over Adam Jones, but I already had 2 guys from Houston and I really wanted Wigginton. I think 3 might be too many as it is.
Sounds like Hampton might not be the best choice, but I heard his recovery is going well, so I figured it'd be worth the risk. Honeslty, I don't know much about many of the pitchers left on FA, so if you guys think there are any hidden gems after 300 rank or so, I'm all ears. Morales and Arroyo are both taken. I was considering Kevin Slowey, but he's not guaranteed a roster spot on MIN yet. Schmidt, Kendrick, Wakefield, Looper, Carlyle, Sonnanstine are some guys I see are available. Obviously, there are many more out there, so if anyone has any suggestions of guys in the 300,400 rank or lower, let me know.
The last SP pitcher is a bit of a flier of course, but for my money I would rather take a risk on a pitcher with some upside than an oft-injured re-tread like Hampton.
One choice could be Justin Duchscherer. He's listed as a RP but will start in the A's rotation probably as the number 3 behind Blanton and Harden. His numbers last year were poor due to a hip condition that required surgery but he previously posted great ERA/WHIP stats with a fair number of K's. A great speculative pick IMHO.
If Manny Parra makes the Brewers rotation he's definitely worth a look. Carlos Villanueva might be in this category as well.
Ervin Santana won 16 games two years ago and has showed improved command in winter ball and spring training. He plays for a good team and has a solid bullpen behind him. If he can overcome the home/road issue....
Speaking of home/road issues, Wandy Rodriguez showed some improvement in this at the end of last year and sported a pretty good K rate of about 7.8 k/9.
Shaun Marcum is another young starter I would rather have than Hampton.

I like the first 3 picks. Ortiz is a big bargain for a #21 overall pick and I think he, M-Cab, and Rios make for a solid 1-2-3 punch to start off. I can't say I rave much about the other choices you made, but I can possibly understand with having to settle with a middle overall pick. I'm not crazy about the Byrnes, Haren, and Kendrick picks actually and I think the same will go for Wagner unless you couldn't find any better value. It appears you're a little short on power and your pitching seems shallow. Try scouring your FA for a few bargain high upside choices, but you might find you'll only get slim pickins from the sounds of things.
