Draft vs. people better than me - how bad is the damage?

I took a year off from fantasy baseball last year, and then decided to be brave and jump right back in to a very tough league. Maybe not the best idea, as the draft just went awful - got sniped repeatedly, reached a few times and guessed wrong every time I tried to anticipate runs.

Anyway, what are my biggest problems here? 12 team mixed, 5x5 roto with OBP instead of BA.
Starting positions are C, 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, IF, IF, OF, OF, OF, OF, OF and UT. 7 P spots with an IP limit of 1500.

OF - Abreu, Damon, Ellsbury, Bradley, McLouth, D. Roberts (plus Berkman, Wilkerson and Fields have OF eligibility)

SP - Matsuzaka, Lincecum, McGowan, Wainwright, Pettitte, Maddux, J. Patterson
RP - Nathan, Borowski, Gregg, Betancourt
