I think he is more good than bad. If that makes any sense. Apparently he's worked hard in the off season to improve his foot work so we'll see.

I don't know how you can say Derek Jeter is a bad shortstop. He is overrated though. He is not great, but he is good. And the question was not if he is as good as he gets credit for, but if he is a good shortstop. He definatly gets my vote.

No. Good implies that he's better than half of the other starting shortstops which isn't the case. He's not a liability by any means, but he certainly isn't a plus player with the glove. He's the type of player that makes a good play look great because he has a unique style and flash.
